Here, everything invites you to slow down and disconnect. The gîte enjoys a privileged setting, nestled between the gentle flow of the Armançon River and the Burgundy Canal, at the foot of the vineyards and along the legendary Way of Saint James (Camino de Santiago).
Located in the charming village of Vézinnes, in the Yonne department, just 5 km from Tonnerre, our authentic little Burgundian house welcomes you. Sleeping up to 4 guests, this cosy retreat of stone and tradition is the perfect place for a timeless escape.
The gîte
Easily accessible, our gîte is located just 1 hour and 50 minutes from Paris (by train or by car), 40 minutes from Auxerre, and 1 hour from Dijon by train. It is the perfect place to take a break from the hustle and bustle, recharge your batteries, and let your imagination run free.

Our renovated barn is a versatile space designed for many purposes.
For creativity: it is an inspiring place, perfect for imagining, writing, and letting your creativity flow freely.
For sharing: on rainy days, it becomes a warm and welcoming retreat where you can enjoy meals, conversations, and moments of togetherness, sheltered from the elements.
To extend these peaceful moments, our garden is waiting for you. It is a special place to relax surrounded by nature, watch and listen to the birds, settle down with your notebook and create in complete tranquillity, or simply enjoy a meal outdoors during a quiet break. We would be delighted to introduce you to delicious local products from our region.
Literary and artistic creative workshops
Because this place inspires words, we have chosen to make it a space for expression and creativity.
Writing weekends:
Join us for themed workshops during a creative weekend retreat. Whether you are a beginner with a passion for words or an experienced writer, these literary interludes encourage creativity in a warm and supportive atmosphere.
Introduction to creative writing:
Are you staying at the gîte? Take the opportunity to enjoy an introductory writing session during your stay. A wonderful way to discover the pleasure of words at your own pace.
Do you draw? Take photographs? Paint? Sculpt? Our barn welcomes you whatever the weather, as does our garden, along with the surrounding nature and the inspiring landscapes of the Tonnerrois area.
Meetings and inner reflection sessions
Because writing is also a journey within oneself, we regularly offer opportunities for meetings and reflection around introspective themes. In a safe and caring environment, come and share, listen, and explore your inner world.
Prices include the nightly rate for the gîte, bed and bath linens, and cleaning.

Breakfast (available upon request) is an extra €12 per person. We recommend requesting it the day before, before 5:00 pm.
The tourist tax is not included and is calculated according to the following official rates:
